Vienna · queer solidarity since 2023

Mutual care is resistance.

We move money directly to queer people in Vienna facing an urgent, unexpected crisis. No means test that shames. No strings. Just community, looking after community.

How it works

A grant in three steps, dignity kept intact.

We built this to be fast and unbureaucratic, because a crisis does not wait for paperwork.

  1. 1

    Someone applies

A short, plain-language form. No caseworker, no proof of worthiness, no invasive questions about why life got hard.

  2. 2

    The panel reviews, anonymously

A rotating panel of community members reads applications with names removed. Decisions are made by peers, not gatekeepers.

  3. 3

    Money arrives fast

Approved grants are paid directly by bank transfer, usually within days of a round closing. That is the whole process.

A recipient, in their words
“When my hours got cut I could not make rent. The fund covered the gap in days. Nobody made me feel small for asking. That is the part I did not expect.”

Not charity. Solidarity.

Thirty-five euros a month funds a full grant every year.

Recurring gifts are what let the panel say yes. They turn one good month into a fund that is always ready.
